    Guests were asked to evacuate this morning at Holiday Inn, after a smoke alarm went off, activated by the Distribution Board (DB) in the parking lot. The Sandton Fire Department arrived within minutes after the alarm was raised and immediately investigated the cause. As a safety precaution all guests and staff were evacuated to the assembly point across the road from the hotel, as the automatic evacuation policy is a standard practise, for smoke triggered alarms.
